Financial strenght and stability

As Protect is an independent, autonomous, family-owned SME, it is in a position to develop its own long-term vision.

The company's shareholding is jointly owned by 3 families and the insurance company AMMA.
The main shareholder is the Ramboer family. Protect is an insurance company incorporated under Belgian law, and is therefore rigorously monitored by the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) and the National Bank of Belgium where Protect is obliged to file its annual accounts and balance sheet, solvency margin and cover assets on a quarterly basis.

As a non-listed, family-owned SME, Protect has made a conscious decision not to take on the arduous task and incur the cost of submitting a rating file. Especially since, to date, none of our stakeholders have expected us to do so.
